Oh my god it’s me Jon Schwartz.

I'm a director from Connecticut, currently based in LA, but forever a fan of Chicago. Growing up, all my friends were really good at skating and I wasn’t. The choice between getting hurt trying to keep up or just filming them was obvious.

Because of that skate background, I’m really into shooting kinetic scenes and dynamic movement. Despite only dressing in black and white, I love bold production design, a technical VFX shot, and figuring out what makes a story tick. I consider myself equal parts technician and storyteller.

On an unrelated note, I'm pretty good at fingerboarding and really good at Mario Kart Double Dash. I like to think I'd place third in a world tournament. I’m also working hard at my side gig of becoming the perfect Instagram boyfriend.
