Jon Schwartz

I'm an LA-based director from Connecticut. I got my start in film shooting skate videos and have since brought my love of handheld scenes to the commercial world, shooting dynamic sequences infused with movement. Without hyping myself up too much, I consider myself equal parts technician and story-teller (feel free to email me if this sounds extra shitty to you).

After a failed stint at film school in Chicago, I decided to move to Los Angeles. On my last day in the city, a bird ceremoniously took a shit on my face. I took that as a sort of poetic sign-off. That said, the adopted Midwesterner in me yearns to be back in Chicago, bird shit drama and all.

On an unrelated note, I'm really good at Mario Kart Double Dash. I like to think I'd place third in a world tournament. I’m also working hard at my side gig of becoming the perfect Instagram boyfriend.
